BEST TIME TO VISIT
Tarangire is open and rewarding all year, but the experience changes beautifully with the seasons:
- June to October (Dry Season):
The best time for wildlife viewing. As water becomes scarce elsewhere, animals gather in huge numbers along the Tarangire River, offering spectacular sightings of elephants, lions, giraffes, and antelope. Clear skies and golden light make this the prime time for photography. - November to May (Green Season):
The park transforms into a lush, green paradise. The landscape blooms, migratory birds arrive, and newborn animals dot the plains. It’s quieter, more affordable, and ideal for travelers who love rich scenery and fewer crowds.
